This fall Wade Wilson Art launched the first Houston solo exhibition of work by American abstract painter Danielle Frankenthal. The exhibit, entitled “Color Drawn in Space” opened with a reception celebrating Frankenthal’s innovative and unique artwork on September, 5 2008 and will remain on view through October, 11 2008.

Residing in Hoboken, NJ, Frankenthal is a disciple of the Radical Concrete movement. Based upon an ideology that lines and colors are concrete by themselves and should be represented without any symbolical association, Frankenthal’s marks and strokes are meant to show little or no emotion.

Wade Wilson Art is located at 4411 Montrose Boulevard Suite 200, Houston, TX 77006. and open Tuesday through Friday from 11 a.m. – 6 p.m. and on Saturday from 11 a.m. – 5:30 p.m. For more information about the gallery or the Danielle Frankenthal exhibit, visit www.wadewilsonart.com.
