Swearing In Ceremony, Galleria’s Mega Designer Bag Sales and Events Galore!

Newly elected District 4 City Council member for Sugarland, Texas Harish Jajoo managed a decent midweek gathering of friends, family and supporters in Sugarland’s Town Square. The Swearing In Ceremony was held on Tuesday June 21, 2011 at the Sugarland City Hall followed by a reception at The Imperial Theatre.

It was a very proud moment for the Jajoo family and the entire Indian American community. “People like him are giving the younger generation inspiration to get more politically involved,” says Harish’s nephew at the reception. In a conversation with James A. Thompson, Mayor of Sugarland, Texas he said that he has high expectations and is very confident of Harish.

Also present at the reception his proud wife Shashi Jajoo, friends from the community, Raj Malani, Vijay Pallod, Thomas Abraham, Naren Patel, Namita Asthana, Donald L. Smithers, Rosemary Mascarenhas, Sanjay Ram, Roger Arora, Mona Parikh, Jacquie Baly Chaumette and other community leaders.

While some have a nonchalant attitude for designer labels most confess their decadence. Let’s face it, we have a love hate relation with them. For those who live for brand names like Gucci, Prada or Chanel I would suggest to check out the stores in the Galleria mall as June brings in some amazing sales. On my recent visit, I am happy to report on some of the biggest deals. Make sure to stop by at the Yves Saint Laurent store as their official sale starts tomorrow. Do not hesitate to step in Salvatore Ferragamo as they have some deals going on that might not last for very long. Ferragamo actually has some great handbags under a thousand dollars. Boy’s do not hate me! But ladies if you always desired to own a great designer bag then now is the time to indulge in your guilty pleasure as they got the best of both worlds: spring and fall collections. Take my word for this, summer is the only season to catch such deals. Take a peak at Neiman Marcus for their wide display of handbags as you never know, it might be your luck day.
