On the Horizon – Fall/Winter 2011 | CrOp by David Peck
CrOp’s Fall/Winter 2011 Collection, “On The Horizon”, was inspired by the upheaval of the Gulf Coast region as a result of the devastation hurricanes Katrina and Rita, and the Gulf Oil Spill, left in their wake. The Gulf Coast has undergone radical transformations in the past decade, some of which have left its inhabitants without livelihoods and a distressed ecosystem. David saw the potential for a transformation from disaster to beauty, and is partnering with the Gulf Restoration Network to help rehabilitate the hardest hit areas of the Gulf Coast. CrOp will donate ten percent of the season’s proceeds to the Gulf Restoration Network.
CrOp by David Peck is made from a combination of certified organic, fair trade, and natural fabrics. His signature custom prints are created using methods that minimally impact the environment. The feel of this collection is a combination of earthy and vibrant colors which evoke a natural yet sexy vibe with a nod to 70’s silhouettes.
