To all Halloween hardcore party goers. If you had a little too much ‘scary’ fun and need some recovery. Check out this conference/event. The first annual BreatheCure Conference comes to Rice University’s Gibbs Recreation and Wellness Center located at 6100 Main Street. The event will support the illness-to-wellness community with educational classes and lectures by highly accredited health experts, healers and cancer survivors for participants of all ages and fitness levels to use as a means of enrichment and healing.

It will officially begin with a VIP Party and Fundraiser at Café Moustache located at 507 Westheimer Road on Friday, October 28 from 7 – 10 pm, a ticketed event that is open to the public with donations benefiting Breathe the Cure®.

Following the VIP Party and Fundraiser, the conference will begin on Saturday, October 29 at 9 am to 8 pm, featuring educational classes and lectures for participants to use as a means of enrichment and healing.

Events include a Pink Aware Performance by the Houston Ballet, music by Purple Songs Can Fly, an amazing performance by Michael Brant Ph.D. (author, speaker and Grammy nominated musician), MD Anderson’s Alejandro Chaoul Ph.D. and Lorenzo Cohen Ph.D. (top researchers on yoga and its benefits), Gary Quinn (in the movie The Invocation – a sequel to The Secret), Barry Estabrook – author of Tomatoland, Nicolai Bachman – The Language of Yoga (Sounds True), Dr. Nellie Grose (board certified practitioner for both Family Practice and Holistic Medicine) and sisters Jane Weiner and Susan Rafte (Pink Ribbons Project) among many others.
