The Fashionable Bunch Spotted at Fashion Houston 2012

Fashion Houston Week 2012 came to an end last Thursday with a host of designers, socialites and loads of fashion with style icon Diane Lokey Farb. The four-day extravaganza featured internationally recognized designers as well as emerging and local talents like Chloe Dao, Jerri Duddlesten Moore, and David Peck.
A red carpet was spread at the entrance of the Wortham Center where guests got plenty of opportunity to flaunt their assets. Lights Camera Action had all eyes set to spot the Hot Divas of H-Town that walked the red carpet with much style, poise and confidence. Here are the popular photographers’ choice Fashion Houston 2012 favorites.
Yasmine Haddad: A glamorous Assistant Professor teaching Physiology, Biomedical Sciences, and Clinical Dentistry at UT School of Dentistry, spotted wearing a BCBG fitted leather top with yellow bandage skirt, booties adorned with a Gucci clutch. She was the favorite choice of many guests present there.
Nancy Golden: Not sure how she does it but Ms Golden managed to look stunning all the four days of Fashion Houston Week. Our favorites: Day 1 was Femme D’ Armes – a dress from Paris, France that Aries Milan from Coquette specially ordered and Day 4: Haute Hippe with a fur jacket from Rachel Zoe.
Duyen Huynh: She was spotted hand in hand with her very handsome and fashionable husband Thao Marc Nguyen. The couple certainly stood out for their sense of style and designer labels. Duyen was in vintage black lace dress, leather harness vest by Givenchy, booties by Gucci and Marc sported a Prada vest along with Yves Saint Lauren shirt and trousers by D-Squared and lizard leather shoes by Prada.
Monítrice Moní Malone: Has a passion for all things of grace and beauty. She was “Classic Chic” with a great appreciation for vintage, haute couture and trends combined to define her look. Her ensemble consisted of the Fall trend hat by Betmar of New York, classic Norma Makali Jersey dress paired with a vintage mink collar, Vera Wang bridal jewelry, and suede Giuseppe Zanotti platforms.
Rita Garcia: FOX 26 Reporter and Anchor Rita Garcia was spotted the last day at the Fashion Houston VIP tent in black jeans, knee high boots and a leather accent jacket. She preferred to keep it simple but this single hottie did get some serious head turns.
Jerri Moore: Most designers like to keep it simple. However, Jerri with her perky personality and in Vintage Chanel stole everyone’s heart.
Maryam Afshari: was spotted with Jared Lang in many different styles but Nancy Golden recollects saying that Maryam looked beautiful the night she adorned her mother’s vintage Hervé Leger and we agree.
Overall Fashion Houston 2012 was all about elegance, classic vintage style with a touch of the edgy.
