Tears of Joy at the Texana Center 2013 Reaching for the Stars Bollywood Themed Gala

Sugar Land, Texas seems like it can’t get enough of Bollywood. A packed house was spotted at the 2013 Texana Center Reaching For the Stars Bollywood Themed Gala event at the Safari Ranch Texas. Subodh Bhuchar served as the emcee and Naach Houston’s Bollywood dance performance got the show rolling.
What stole everyone’s heart was Texana Center’s clients surprise Bollywood dance performance. It was heartwarming to see the clients jolly dance moves to the hit song ‘Jai Ho’. Texana Center is a non profit organization that provides behavioral healthcare and intellectual development disabilities services to the residents of Fort Bend. They have 46 facilities throughout its service area.
Overall the gala was most certainly a success and as the dance director of Naach Houston, Mahesh Mahbubani rightly said, “When I saw the smile and the clients dance, that was success for me.”
