Red Sage Catering, run by an entrepreneurial chef couple Alexandria Smith and Scott Smith, is a wonderful addition to Houston’s burgeoning catering scene. Offering a variety of appetizers, main courses, and deserts, they offer a complete menu for any event from weddings to 4th of July parties.
Lights Camera Action was fortunate to have Red Sage cater its recent 1st International Mother’s Day Soirée at the prestigious Wade Wilson Gallery. Chef Scott and Event Coordinator Stephanie Wood created a fabulous selection of internationally themed appetizers that were a hit at the party.
Among our favorites were chili lime shrimp cups, crustini bites with pear and gorgonzola cheese, and salmon and caper cream puffs. For desert, Red Sage whipped up a delicious mixed berry shortcake. Each dish had a hint of international spice to match the diverse pallets of the Soirée guests.
