Hot Summer Events with Asian American Family Service Ambassadors
Two hotties: Reyne Hirsch and Sonia Azad are high on our radar this July for hosting fun events to support Asian American Family Services (AAFS). Following the similar concept of The Leukemia and Lymphoma Society’s Man & Woman of the Year Campaign, where the organization nominates passionate individuals to represent the organization and raise funds, AAFS has nominated several Houston based socialites, philanthropists and media personalities.
With a background in modelling and journalism, Reyne is an expert in 20th Century Decorative Arts and has been called upon to appraise collectibles ranging from antique watches to $20 million paintings. Sonia Azad is also one of the media personalities serving as the 2013 Ambassadors for AAFS. Azad is no stranger to Houston’s social scene. While her day job is to be the most efficient reporter for ABC 13, Sonia also serves on the board of many charity organizations and helps raise awareness and plenty of funds.

Sonia is celebrating her Birthday this Friday July 12, 2013, 8pm onwards at Mosaic, 5925 Almeda Road, Houston, Texas 77004. It’s a birthday fundraiser where guests are requested to donate generously to the Asian American Family Services in lieu of presents. Mosaic Bar & Lounge will generously donate a portion of the bar proceeds to her charity while DJ Senega will be spinning the night away. So as she says, “It’s Time to Party!”
July 20th is the Car Wash For Charity benefiting Reyne Hirsch’s Ambassador Nomination For Asian American Family Services, she is bringing on the heat with Houston’s hottest guys and gals washing cars for her charity. The event will be hosted at the Momentum Audi close to Richmond and Kirby from 10am till 4pm where Houston’s hotties like Houston Dynamo Players Mike Chabala, Paul Pettie, Fashion Houston Co-Founder Jared Lang, Hector Villareal (LUCHO), Artist Hanh Tran, and several other models. Sip champagne, listen to music and get your car washed. Make sure to dress sexy!
