Sewa International Houston honored at City Hall

Sewa International Houston was honored at City Hall with the 2013 Youth Service Challenge Medallion for Outstanding Community Service by the Jefferson Awards Committee. Mayor Annise Parker presented the award to the young Sewa volunteers in front of the Houston City Council. Sewa President Manju Gupta, and Project Coordinator Kriti Dogra, proudly accepted the award on behalf of the organization. Sewa Houston is a non-profit charity that services low income families.
