A Fashionable Kick-off
Sexy glamorous gals and gents gathered at Hotel ZaZa last week for the official kick-off party for Fashion Houston 2013 to be held November 12-15 at the Wortham Theater Center. Models, sexy cars, fashion icons to a high school going emerging fashion designer, Fashion Houston founder Jared Lang knows how to throw a good party and great group of high rollers together.
The ballroom was bustling with Htown’s fashionable divas, an Audi R8 Sports car, and plenty of drinks. Neal Hamil models were showcasing designs of Chole Dao and David Peck. Also present among the crowd was emerging local designer Amir Taghi along with his parents. Well who wasn’t there at the party? This invite only party was well attended – Diane Lokey Farb, Dominique Sachse and Nick Florescu, Ceron, Jeff Shell, Edward Sanchez, Mandy Kao in Nha Khanh, Joy Sewing, Azra Rauf in a leather Derek Lam dress, Maryam Afshari in a Amir Taghi, Mark Sullivan, Cortney Cole, Roi Alan, Ashlee Lee, Magen Pastor, Lisa Gochman, Tiffany Halik, Yasmine Haddad, Peter C. Remington, Philippe Schmit, and many others.
The fourth annual Fashion Houston that returns to Wortham Theater Center has a great line up, some of the runway designers who will be showing their collections: Nicole Miller, Talbot Runhof, Bibhu Mohapatra, Catherine Deane, Marios Schwab, Yigal Azrouel, Zachary Prell, Rebecca Taylor, Sophie Theallet, and Chris Knott for Peter Millar.
