A Fairy Tale Ending – Pink Door Gala
This was no ordinary party, it was the gala that nobody wanted to miss. A great cause, mostly young professionals and lots of news folks. The Pink Door’s 6th Annual Gala – “A Fairytale Ending” hosted at the Four Seasons Hotel, Houston witnessed over 320 guests raising $266,000.
The evening was a success with Emcee Sharron Melton the Morning Anchor for ABC 13, generous underwriter Momentum Audi and corporate sponsors: Houston Methodist Cancer Center, Colorectal Surgical Associates, BMC Software, Opportune, HOPE Lymphedema, Dynamo Charities, SWBC, Chicago Title, Fieldings Wood Grill, Sandler Training, FMC Technologies, National Signs, and Expeditors. “We always need such charity driven people and companies to sponsor good causes,” says Cortney Cole Hall, President/Founder of Pink Door. To recognize such generosity, the organization honored Honorees: Dr. Eric and Courtney Zubowski Haas for their contributions. They also honored Jared Lang of Momentum Audi and the Survivor Honoree was Paula McDonald.
Pink Door is dedicated to the assistance of women cancer survivors. The organization strives to constantly provide resources and assistance to women through a number of events and raising funds to help in their recovery. 100% of the funds raised at the gala event benefit the My Pink Wish.
