Hats Off to Mothers Raising $205,000 For Easter Seals Greater Houston
Some 420 mostly ladies in big brimmed hats and spring frocks gathered at the River Oaks Country Club for the 15th Anniversary of Hats Off To Mothers Luncheon to help raise funds for Easter Seals Greater Houston. With chairpersons Gina Gaston Elie and Dr. Kelli Cohen Fein the luncheon raised a whopping $205,000.
Easter Seals Greater Houston serves a very noble mission. They aim to provide exceptional services to ensure all people with disabilities and their families have equal opportunities to live, learn, work, and play in the community. The organization was founded in Houston in 1947, providing a variety of needed services to individuals of all ages with all types of disabilities and their families in the five counties surrounding the Houston area.
This year marked the 15th Anniversary of Hats Off, they celebrated the big 15, while honoring 15 fabulous mothers.
