Bollywood Movie stars visiting Houston seems to be becoming a regular affair. Houston being the fourth largest city in the United States with a rich diverse community with thriving business opportunities, the city is growing and the social scene is thriving.

From the South Asian Chamber of Commerce Gala with Hollywood Bollywood actors Neha Dhupia and Wilmer Valderrama to Miss Bollywood Pageant Contest with chief guest Preity Zinta, Houston recently hosted the International Indian Film Academy Awards (IIFA) Press Conference with Indian cinema’s mega star Vidya Balan.

IIFA will be held in Tampa Bay, Florida from April 23-26, 2014 and the press conference was hosted in Houston by local entrepreneur Rajinder Singh to promote IIFA, while also hoping to possibly host it in Houston sometime in the near future. “It gives me immense pleasure to announce that The ‘Bollywood Oscars’ are coming to the Tampa Bay area the last weekend in April, with the awards ceremony being televised worldwide from Raymond James Stadium on April 26.
