Young and Fabulous Back To School Fashion Show Event for Crime Stoppers
It was a fabulous summer and as the schools have resumed and kids are back to school, let us take some time and reflect upon some of the highlights of this summer. Houston is now being known for being a philanthropic city and the young ones are not behind in giving back. All summer several events were hosted by Lights Camera Action Houston Society News where kids participated in contributing to several charities like the Rainbow Loom bracelets for DIL Developments In Literacy, and many others.
As the kids were getting ready for a productive year ahead, Lights Camera Action and Josephine’s Day Spa & Salon hosted the Young and Fabulous Back To School Fashion Show event for Crime Stoppers. When its nearly time to send our precious children back to school among the typical worries of purchasing back to school supplies and getting back into regular a routine, every mother’s main concern every school year is the safety of her kids. With the school year upon us, it is time to trust our kids and hope they will know how to avoid danger. To ensure that Crime Stoppers came together with Josephine’s Day Spa and created an afternoon both informative and fun as Rania Mankarious, Executive Director of Crime Stoppers, shared tips for a safe year ahead.
Never underestimate these little fashionistas as they confidently walked the ramp in designer labels like Robetto Cavali, Armani, Gucci, David Peck, Gabriela Dror fascinator, and Isabel et Noa. Each child had 60 seconds to strut their stuff on the ramp which was adorned with school supplies to help set the ‘back to school’ mood. Some blew kisses, some spun on the runway, and all had a fabulous time as guests sipped mimosas, tasty bites by Carmelo’s, with hair and make up by Grace.
Walking the ramp: Ashish Shah, Aryika Roy, Atianas Henderson, Maddie and Mila Pastor, London Hastings, Ava Le, Bella Chramosta, David Dror, Emma Nicole Garces, Lexie and Kaely Smith, Mikayla Rae Mathis, Kaeley Chivers, and Nicole Mayberry.
