‘Don’ Themed Baazi Gala kick starts with a Fashionable Bunch

Guests enjoyed a fabulous new Summer look while they joined in for a great cause. The kick off party in support of the upcoming Baazi Fundraiser for Ek Disha hosted at David Peck USA brought in a fiesta of fashion and style as guests enjoyed fabulous new summer looks by David Peck (along with the designer’s presence) and got hair and make up updates by renowned Houston-based make-up artists Artee Kumar and Anita Barua Patel of Blush and Glow, and Hair Design By Andrea.
The gala is to be themed after the popular Bollywood movie ‘Don’ with a fun-filled Casino/Vegas style night benefiting the projects that Ek Disha funds. Ek Disha is a a US based non-profit organization that funds high impact humanitarian projects. From disaster relief programs to livelihood and sustainability exigencies, EK Disha has funded many projects since its inception. With a dedicated board of directors and philanthropic team members the organization has brought light to many untold heroic stories and problems that needed attention.
This year’s gala chairs Dr. Sippi Khurana, Farida Abjani and Geeta Anand geared up for a fun filled gala evening to be held on September 18, 2016 at the House of Blues. The kick off party was a sneak peak to all the fun and a glamorous evening all for a noble cause at the upcoming Baazi Gala. The fashionable and philanthropic bunch included: Sneha and Naushir Merchant, Ajay Khurana, Rick Pal, Connie Kwan Wong, Lily Zhang, Hanh Tran, Neelofur Ahmad, Salima and Pervaz Merchant.
