International Entrepreneurs StartUp Cup Fiesta At The US Chamber of Commerce

Over 1,000 startups and experts gathered in the nation’s capital Washington DC, where a three-day summit was held to showcase empowered women and entrepreneurs from all over the world of all ages and ethnicities who are breaking through glass ceilings and overcoming cultural barriers.

FullSizeRenderStartUp Cup is a Business Model Competition, a featured event of global entrepreneurship week held at the US Chamber of Commerce. The StartUp Cup is dedicated to the dreamers and doers of the world, the people who consciously take on the entrepreneurship journey, in the process they transform their lives and the lives of those who benefit from their creations.

This year’s participants included mentors and entrepreneurs from all parts of the world including Pakistan. Powerhouses like Shelly Porges Co-Founder of Entrepreneurs For Hillary, Stephanie Von Stein on domestic violence and nine year old entrepreneur Zymal Umal from Pakistan. The conference laid emphasis on the importance of globalization and diversity. LCA Houston Editor/Founder Ruchi Mukherjee was also one of the speakers at the conference on women empowerment, her entrepreneurial journey and also as a strong advocate against domestic violence.
